Love Your Melon (LYM
) was founded in 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was acquired by Win Brands in 2022. Despite the growth and changes over the years, LYM has maintained its distinct Small Town/Midwestern charm. Since the acquisition, I have had the privilege of contributing to the brand's evolution, helping to modernize and enhance its identity. Below is a design I created for LYM during this transformative period presenting branding, website, & retention + social design.

At a family friend's wedding, I gained an unexpected networking opportunity. I mentioned my work as a graphic designer to another guest who turned out to be in need of design services. As a result, I designed branding, marketing assets, and documents for a local orthodontist and dental office. Although designing a new logo wasn't part of the initial request, when I saw their existing logo, I took the initiative to create a more effective and visually appealing one. As their business continues to grow, I have the opportunity to evolve as a designer and take on a diverse range of new design projects.

UNDERDOG.IO


Underdog.io
builds software that helps job seekers find meaningful work at technology companies. Candidates send Underdog.io their resumes and other basic information. Using a combination of human intelligence and technology, Underdog.io reviews and ranks candidates and sends a curated batch to their hiring network every week. Founders and hiring managers contact candidates directly and take them through their normal internal hiring process.  I created a PR deck/Media Kit with infographics for Underdog.io’s email newsletter to  promote their company to businesses looking to hire  candidate.

HMS PACKAGING DESIGN


Homesick (HMS), is a home fragrance brand aiming to evoke cherished memories through their products. The scents they develop are inspired from a variety of sources like local areas, foods, and memories. I had the opportunity to redesign the packaging for Homesick's Nutcracker Candle. I created the individual illustrations using Procreate on my iPad and assembled the final design in Adobe Illustrator.

At Win Brand Group I was responsible for campaign design/art direction and production design on several eCommerce brands. For LYM I got to create icons and infographics as well as marketing assets for paid, social, affiliate, web, and retention. Occasionally I even did physical product design, creating hats for Nightmare Before Christmas, Sesame Street, Beetlejuice, and Disney.

GRAF LANTZ


I was hired as an eCommerce Manager with design skills, and ended up doing as much design as I could weasel my way into. I planned, wrote copy, designed, deployed all email and sms campaigns. I also managed our Shopify/Website. I designed mockups landing pages/homepages and worked with our developer to transfer them to our site. Under Graf Lantz there was another gen-z centric brand called GLOB, I designed for both brands.

QALO


QALO (QLO) specializes in high-quality silicone rings and accessories. Designed to be durable and comfortable alternatives to traditional metal rings and jewelry, particularly for people with active lifestyles or professions where traditional rings may pose a risk of injury or discomfort. Here are some designs that never got to see the light of day, at least by me, due to layoffs. These were for 2 campaigns, Earth Month/QALO Conscious and a Tia Toomey Partnership. Our look was feeling stale and I wanted to add more fun and excitement to the QALO brand. Here is what I came up with to present to the marketing team

HMS WINNIE THE POOH


Homesick (HMS), is a home fragrance brand aiming to evoke cherished memories through their products. The scents they develop are inspired from a variety of sources like local areas, foods, and memories.  In this campaign, I set the design tone and art direction for photography. I personally created the line and frame doodles, while the remaining illustrations were sourced from Disney. I handled the design production of all marketing materials, spanning across social media, paid advertising, customer retention, e-commerce, and affiliate platforms.
